japanese straight...better than rebonding

last saturday i had my hair done at tomi no haru salon located at espana, manila. i bought a discounted service from metrodeal. an 8-step japanese straight for only P999.00 instead of P 2,650.00. that's a lot of savings, right? i chose the location since it's the nearest from my workplace among their other 6 branches here at metro manila. my schedule is at 3pm but as i got there at 2:45 i found a large crowd packed inside a small space. i don't know if it is because of overbooking but the place is full. their salon is quite small and it doesn't look like a salon at all. more like a 'parlour' where ladies gather to talk about the latest gossip around their neighborhood. i am not exaggerating. all i can see are chairs, mostly monoblock chairs. not the usual comfortable salon chairs i'm used to. there's no salon equipment like hood dryers, hair steamers, etc. they only have a small shampoo bowl station at the corner, 3 small rectangular mirros, a small tv, monoblock chairs as waiting area and 1 salon trolley that contain 4 types of hair iron. and they have a shortage of combs.  where do you find a salon that operates with only 2 pcs of combs? the stylists had to take out their own combs to accommodate their clients. and they don't have scissors. they don't do haircuts. only hair straightening and hair coloring. maybe i just expect so much from them thinking that they are in parallel with david's salon and such. nevertheless, the salon staffs are quite friendly and accommodating. they are all smiles even though they haven't eaten for quite a while. i know, because i also didn't take any bite during my stay there for about 10 hours. yes! 10 hours. the normal process could take about 6-8 hours only, but since we are overcrowded, it took longer than it should. well, i can't tell the detail of my hair straightening process because it's a series of treatment applications, washing, blow drying, ironing. the usual things that the other salon did when rebonding. the only difference is the treatment their using are not matapang. it's like a normal leave-on conditioner that actually smells good. and another thing, unlike in  rebonding where you can color your hair through cellophane treatment only, with japanese straight you can use permanent hair color on the same day. i had mine in  reddish brown color. so all in all, after the long process, i'm tired, hungry, thirsty, deprive of sleep and pretty....very pretty !!! (hahaha) see here...

  2. yup and softer too...kelangang lang ng follow up maintenance like hot oil and hair spa para ma-maintain yung shine. medyo mahaba nga lang ang process talaga.

  5. yup...basta after 2 days mo pa babasain ha after the treatment. so far it's been 3 months at straight pa din ang hair ko...maganda pa din so to speak...hehehe basta proper maintenance lang after the treatment

  10. hi! bumili din ako ng voucher sa metrodeal bago ko pa makita tong review mo. .i was trying to find the direct phone number for the Espana branch when i see this review in google. .di kasi ako makapagpareserve. nagtext na ako twice but i didn't receive any confirmation text and i've been calling their hotline but it's either no one is answering or it can't be reached. pano ka nakapagpareserve? thanks! :)

  14. i only went at their espana branch so i have no idea regarding other branches. though i heard from the staffs na maganda daw ang del monte branch nila. ung sa espana kasi di kagandahan ang place (read my review) pero very accommodating ang mga tao

  15. Meron pa ba promo sa metro deal? And yung buhok ko sobrang frizzy and dry kaya ba un ng japanese Straight? Im afraid kasi damage na hair ko but when i read your blog natuwa ako kasi affordable sya unlike sa ibang salon sobrang mahal

  16. naku i am just a patron like you. i am not an expert when it comes to hair. pero may nakasabay ako na frizzy yung hair nya. and after the treatment maganda naman ung kinalabasan. pero syempre i dont know kung gaano katagal ung itatagal nun. so far kasi my hair is still straight eh. wala pa ding waves. but my hair is not "kulot" naman to start with. well, at least affordable naman ito if you wanna give it a try

  17. don't ever try japanese straight kung ang buhok mo ay curly talaga at may pagka-frizzy. sayang lang ang pera mo. my hair was that and I expect that TOMI NO HARU was the good one for my hair because I researched first about their background before I bought the voucher in Metrodeal and then I found their website. -www.japanesestraight.com- Their website is very enticing to the eyes and telling promise that you'll have a permanent straight whatever hair types you have and even you tie your hair with pony without leaving marks. SOBRANG NAGKAMALI AKO! From reservation pa lang ng voucher, naubos na ang oras ko kakatawag sa kanila para magpa-reserve ng date na pupunta ako sa salon nila. magrereply daw sau ng confirmation pero 1 week na, wala pa rin nagrereply. nakakainit na ng ulo. Kailangan ko pa tumawag ng tumawag sa head office nila pati sa metrodeal para lang ma-confirm ako. Ganun ang service nila. Hindi sila customer oriented. Kung pwede nga lang mag-refund, talagang ire-refund ko na lang binayad ko dahil sa unprofessional service nila kaso hindi pwede un sa Metrodeal.

    Dumating na ang araw ng pagpunta ko sa salon. ESPAÑA BRANCH din. Nairita na naman ako dahil ayaw ako umpisahan ng staff nila dahil iko-confirm pa raw sa head office nila. Badtrip! pa-confirm nga lang napakatagal, tapos andun ka na sa salon, may confirmation number ka na, ayaw ka pa rin umpisahan gawin. I was the first customer, 8:45AM. Iyong sinasabi nilang 8 stages, actually, inuulit-ulit lang iyong treatment sau na akala mo ay may ibang special na kasama dun sa 8 stages na un. nakakadismaya talaga. 8 kaming customer at dalawa (2) lang ang staff. gutom na ako kakahintay na matapos. akala ko 4pm matatapos na ako pero kakatapos pa lang ng unang pagplantsa sa buhok ko. may panibago na naman kailangan gawin. pero imbis na maumpisahan agad, naghintay pa ako ng 1 hour bago naumpisahan uli. kulang sa tao, 2 lang sila, ano ba i-expect mo? kung pwede lang talaga na umuwi na lang. natapos ako 8PM. I was there for almost 12 hours. sobrang dismayado ako. PAANO NA LANG IYONG 6 CLIENT PA NA NAIWAN DUN? ANONG ORAS SILA MAKAKAUWI?

    THE RESULT..
    3 days after, binasa ko na ang buhok ko. sobrang kainis. may kulot-kulot pa na naiwan. buhaghag ang 10% na pinakadulo ng buhok ko na parang tinipid. oo malambot siya pero iyon lang ang kunswelo ko. other things than that, wala nang magandang nangyari. I complain it and I was scheduled for Retouch/Back job. hindi ka pwedeng basta-basta bumalik sa salon, kailangan mo pa talagang magpa-schedule na naman. at ang balik ko sa salon, 2 weeks pa. . isang napaka-pangit na experience sa Tomo No Haru.

  18. i'm sorry to hear that cheezy. matagal nga talaga ang service nila. but aside from that di ko naranasan yung ibang negative na naransan mo sa kanila. even when i am booking for my sched mabilis lang eh. when i called they gave me a sched right there and then. i don't have to wait for confirmation.

    well, i hope everything goes well pagbalik mo. i suggest you point out your concerns with the crew sa branch na pupuntahan mo para mabawasan yung mga complaints nila.

Actually ako kapupunta ko lang kahapon, di ako nagpareserve pero pagpunta ko dun inasikaso na kagad nila ako pero matagal nga talaga at dagadag na rin siguro ng kakulangan sa tao, 3 sila, dalawang guy ,isa na naka-uniform na red (yata) then ung isang girl na mas head yata sa kanila. 2 days daw bago basain, pero gagawin ko ng 3, natural wavy kasi buhok ko, baka di enough ang 2 :P.

    after 3 months, last friday ko lang napagalaw ang hair ko ulit. i had a hair spa. well, ganun pa din sya. straight and soft.

    sobrang humiliating ang nangyari sken sa ofiz. binalik ko ang hair ko para sa retouch pero ganun pa rin ang result. ang ganda nya pag hindi pa nababasa pero nung binasa ko na, parang pinaghalong straight at kulot ang buhok ko. para nga daw sa mangkukulam. if I could only post here the picture of my hair so that others with curly here won't go to TOMI NO HARU. maybe it's applicable to straight and wavy hair but not to real curly hair. actually before ako bumili sa metrodeal, naghahanap ako ng blogs about japanese straight na may same hair type kagaya sken since kaya lang wala akong makita. so I just trust their website which is for me is very deceiving because of false promises.

    sa metrodeal kz ako kumuha ng voucher kaya kailangan magpa-reserve pero kung walk-in customer ka, automatic, gagawan ka na nila. nagko-confirm pa kz sila sa head office nila. hindi raw kz sila babayaran pag di sila nagconfirm.

  22. Hi! ask ko lang po based on your experience or based sa recommendations ng tomi no haru, dahil sa wala silang haircut.. alin ba ang mas ok.. ung magpapagupit muna sa ibang salon then magpapa japanese straight or japanese straight muna bago haircut?..

  23. :( Naging wavy na ulit buhok ko and may mga tutsang na medyo buhaghag. Babalik ako for warranty, pagbinabasa ko yung warranty ang nakalagay "valid for 10 days only" so that means within 10 days pero nung tumawag ako, the agent keep teling me na after 10 days??? o_O? So nagwoworry ako baka pagpunta ko sabihin nila sa akin is within 10 days lang. is it really after?? Thanks ng marami :)

  24. to ayalouise and cheezy... i felt bad na ganyan ang naging experience nyo with them. isinulat ko lang kasi un naging experience ko eh. so far okay naman. until now my hair is good. although wavy lang nga sya to start with. pero maganda pa din naman. sana there is a way na maparating sa kanila ung ganyang issue para mainform din ng mabuti ang ibang tao. pero cguro case to case basis din.

    regarding sa warranty i advised na kunin mo ung name nun nagsabi sau na after 10 days. pero i guess pwede k naman bumalik dun before 10 days. backjob yn kaya di ka na kelangan magpa sched. idemand mo un sa kanila.

    about the haircut, ang advised nila 1 week after the treatment pa daw mgpa haircut. i suggest mas ok mgpatreatment muna before magpa haircut para in case my dry hair sa dulo mapatanggal

  25. sakit sa ulo ng japanese straight na yan. balak ko na nga sana ipa-tulfo yan eh. nagtimpi lang ako. panloloko kz ang ginagawa nila. iyong voucher na nabili, stating na woth P2,650.00 ang price nun pero slash out kaya P999.00 na lang. pero sa totoo lang, same pa rin naman ang service ng P2,650.00 na at regular price nila sa salon nila na P1,500.00. balewala iyong nakalagay sa voucher na ceramide ewan. pinaganda lang nila. kaya iyong nagbabalak na pumunta o bumili ng voucher nila, think 1 million times and read the comments above. real scenario ang nangyari. ayoko ng may maloko pa silang iba dahil sa napakaganda nilang tarpaulin at website which is maling-mali. dapat nga japanese straight ang kalalabasan ng buhok pero JAPANESE KULOT ang nangyari sken. kahiya-hiya ginawa nila sken. naubos panahon at pera ko sa kanila. ok lang sana na magbawas ka ng pera sa bulsa mo basta maayos lang kalalabasan pero maling-mali.

    kung inaasahan ninyo ang warranty nila. think million times din dahil kailangan, wag mo itatapon ang servicw warranty slip nila dahil kung naitapon mo na, kailangan mo uli magbayad ng P500.00 para sa back-job o retouch mo. kabwisit dba. at hindi ka basta-basta pwedeng pumunta sa salon dahil gusto mo na ipaayos uli ang buhok mo na nasira na dahil sa kanila dahil hindi ka rin nila aasikasuhin agad. KAILANGAN NILA NG CONFIRMATION GALING SA HEAD OFFICE NILA KAYA'T MAGMUMUKHA KANG TANGA NA NAG-AAKSAYA NA NG ORAS MO PERO MAGHIHINTAY KA PA RIN NG CONFIRMATION DAHIL WALA TALAGA SILANG BALAK I-RETOUCH KA BASTA'T WALANG CONFIRMATION GALING HEAD OFFICE NILA.

    ikaw na ang nagawaan ng pangit na service, ikaw pa ang tila naghahabol pa rin sa kanila at namimilit na ipa-ayos ang maling service nila.

    para sau na gusto ng JAPANESE STRAIGHT ng TOMI NO HARU, pag-isipan mong mabuti...

  26. ipa-tulfo mo na yan cheesy. manloloko yan. mismo yng franchise manager nila niloko nila kaya sila dinemanda. mga tauhan nila hindi binabayaran ang benefits. ginagawa nilang uto uto yung mga galing probinsya. di pinapakain at ginagawang katulong.

    hindi totong galing japan yung mag-asawa na may-ari. natuto lang mag-japanese straight nagbenta na ng franchise.

    sinubukan ko din yung service nila. maganda sana kaya lang nakakapagod sa haba at ang panghi ng salon nila.

    ang ok daw ngayon ung extenso. pumunta kayo sa maayos na salon lalo na kung mahaba ang proseso. mahirap na masira ang buhok nyo..

  27. oh my! my friend just had her rebonding sa Bacoor Branch.. di na nya pinatapos yung kanya kasi may nagwawala na daw na babae dahil sa nangyari sa buhok nya as in from roots to tips parang kinuryente daw! ans in kinki.. natakot na sya di nya pinatapos ...yung babae daw talagang nag punta na sa police station sobrang sama ng loob....

  28. mga katulong tlga sila dudong at enday pero nabiyayaan ng pagkakataon maiangat ang estado sa buhay sa pagpasok sa marangal na trabaho pambuhay sa kanilang sarili at pamilya. dapat natin ikarangal ang pag eempleyo sa mga nagnais kumita sa maynila mahirap ang di nakatungtong ng hi skul o kolehiyo. isang masigabo aprub at palakpakan sa mga kumpanyang tumatanggap sa kanila mangamuhan. kaya k tulfo tayo para sumikat tayo lahat at gumanda ang buhay!

  30. I had my hair done in frisco,del monte. hindi ako masaya kasi nasunog ang ibang buhok ko...sobrang init ng plantsa, paulit-ulit na plantsa at masakit pa. Hindi ko mai- recommend ang gumawa ng buhok ko, so useless lalo na ang hair color ko. sayang lang ang pera ko. sa metrodeal ko binili for 999. + 600.(color) additional payment doon sa del monte branch.

WORST EVER PARLOR... to think they have a call center to accomodate a customer but they all LIAR!!! magpa schedule ka ahead of time sasabihin nila ok pero once n andun kna walang darating n tao nila, bagsak n bagsak sila s CUSTOMER SERVICE well ATTENTION S OWNER NG JAPANESE STRAIGHT train ur people very well kc maganda nga gamot nyo puro Sinungaling nman mga tao nyo pano kyo kikita at wag na wag n kyo maglalagay ng TARPOLINE n di nyo nman kayang gawin s customer

  37. I had my jap str8 sa espana twice sep 2012 at yesterday. Okay ung exp ko with the first. So far okay itong 2nd. Medyo panget ung place, 7 hrs bago ako natapos 4pm to 11 (hair length: waistline, thick and wavy). Pero mabait naman ung dalawang staff, medyo overworked ang peg. Nung first ko sa metrodeal ung 2nd tumawag na lang ako sa operator nila ng 2pm then I was given a txt confirmation to go ng 4 pm.

  38. For those who has Curly Hair, DON'T TRY THIS SALON.

    I have light curly resistant hair, Nag walk-in ako to avoid the hassle of scheduling kase based on reviews minsan matagal daw mag pasched. I went to Cainta branch, 1 hour palang ako, may mga client nang nagrreklamo for retouch or backjob, so medyo nag worry ako. 8 hours yung procedure, yung staff grabe bigat ng kamay, naluluha na ako kase parang sinasabunutan ka kung magplantsa sya ng buhok..

    Sabe sa website nila, 8 procedures but that's not true. wala siyang pinagkaiba sa normal relaxing or rebonding, except sa pinaplantsa nila before mag apply ng mga solutions. Andun paren ung normal celophane and keratin like most salons. Light lang yung effect ng pang straight nila that's why pwedeng magpacolor after sabe nung staff.

    The outcome? yes, maganda and malambot, very straight. yun bang kahet humangin, babalik paren siya na maganda, so I was really happy...
    but you'll find out the REAL OUTCOME after 2 days.
    at exactly after 2 days, naligo na ako, I used the free conditioner they gave (sabe sa website, free takehome treatment, conditioner lang un). nung natuyo na ung hair, it was really frizzy ad some of the hair are still curly,slight lang yung difference niya sa hair ko before the procedure except sa malambot siya.

    Nagpunta ako ulet sa branch nila for retouch sana, nacheck ng staff ung hair ko na buhaghag, but then di paren nila pwedeng galawin without notice from main office. NAG WALK IN AKO BUT I STILL NEED TO TEXT THEIR OFFICE FOR schedules. Yung customer service nila is a big lie, I called for one whole week, mga 2 hours a day, no one answered even once. I texted and spam them, sa wakaw may nagreply. "wait for 48 hours daw", 48 hours passed, no txt, so after 1 week nagpunta ulet ako pero hindi paren nila pwedeng galawin unless walang confirmation from main Office. nung nagpunta ako, 3 yung nagrreklamo for retouch.
    instead of 48 hours, 3 weeks akong nag-antay para lang sa retouch (I posted something on their facebook page, so they arranged my sched).

    after 6 hour of procedure ng retouch, maganda na naman ung hair ko.. but after 2 days again which is today. ganun paren, no changes.

    All in all, it's not worth it at all if you have curly hair, I may agree na maganda sya for those who has natural straight hair.
    It's not better than rebonding, much better pa nga ung relax except malambot lang sya.

  40. For those who have coarse, frizzy curly hair like mine: I had a rebond treatment at Encarnacion Dapitan cor Alfonso Mendoza st. may promo sila nov 2012 "any lenght for 800". Pagdating ko, they said wala pang (i forgot the name) extra treatment yun na worth 200. soo sabi ko isama na yung 200 worth na extra treatment. tapos when they started covering my hair, they said, wala pa daw cellophane treatment yung 1k package and that I have to add 500 pesos for that, para daw long lasting. I didn't like their approach of adding up costs and filling me with doubts kung anong magiging kinabukasan ng hair ko. pero I sticked with the 1k package. FORTUNATELY IT LASTED A YEAR ;) without maintenance. So i'll be coming back again this month for a rebond. ;D

    may hair color din ba yun at the same time? yun sana gusto ko, straight plus hair color. kaya lang my hair is epically coarse and frizzy. : ( so i doubt if it's gonna last long. i'm a community nurse, madalas din sa medical missions, mabilis maging parang dried fruit hair ko sa kunat. XD

  44. i did mine at espana branch last sunday so its my 2nd day, tomorrow iwawash ko na sya and hopefully maging ok sya since na first time ko lang iexperience. .during my session super nagtagal tlga from 11 am - 8:30 pm may kasabayan ako na pinuntahan na ng sister nya, meron din naman nag rereact na talga literally sa sbrang tagal. Actually 5 kami nandun at my isang specific girl na napuno na ata to the point na my kausap xa sa celfone at nagsusumbong sa kausap nya den tinatanong nya na ung staff kung cno pwede macontact at kung sino ung pinaka may ari para mag complain. .well di ko din naman masisi ung dlawang staff kasi imagine lima kami tapos isa lang talaga ung gumagawa kasi ung isa taga shampoo lang at trainee pa lang sya so kung 8:30 ako nakauwi at ako ang first customer nila gudluck sa mga naiwan kung wat tym cla natapos nun

  45. I had the Japanese Straight treatment at their Makati branch this nung April 2014 lang. Matagal nga ung process kasi 2 lang gumagawa tapos daming client. pero Ok naman result sakin. Soft, straight and mukang natural naman hair ko, ndi ung mukang walis. for ilang months din akong ndi na need magiron ng hair kasi maganda talaga ung bagsak. ngaun may times na mganda pa rin sya pero minsan mejo buhaghag hair ko so nagpplantsa pa din ako pero unting stroke lang ndi gaya dati. pero ung hair ko before e ndi naman sobrang kulot talaga so kaya siguro maganda result sakin ng tomi no haru jap straight. ung sister ko e kinky ung hair nya and iniisip kong sa tomi no haru din sya pastraight pero after reading the reviews above e mukang ndi applicable sa hair type nya un. she had her hair rebonded years ago sa encarnacion dapitan branch and the result was really good.my other sister also have the same hair type as her and she also had her hair rebonded at encarnacion dapitan branch and the result was also very good,straight malambot at shiny, at sumasayaw sa hangin, ndi parang walis.. pero ang ndi lang maganda e pag natubo na ulit ung hair nila. kulot ung top tapos maganda at straight ung ilalim which i think is not fault na ng salon a. so issuggest ko sa kapatid ko na sa encarnacion na lang ulit magparebond since subok nya na ung salon na un sa hair type nya.

  52. I am a regular client of the Japanese Straight for four years and never have I ever had any reason to complain about their service despite the lack of salon workers, the number of hours it takes to finish the streatment and the crowdedness of the salon.

    Last December I underwent my fourth Japanese Straightening procedure and it was different from the first three. WHY? Because I came to the salon with heavily damaged hair due to DIY HAIR COLORING. My hair was so dry and coarse to touch and has split ends. It's any woman's nightmare! I was so worried that my "suki' salon might not be able to repair my damaged hair. Still I went there and asked one of the salon workers if they could do it and he said yes so I sat inside the salon, ready for the long tiring process of tiis-ganda.
    After the first batch of treatment and blow drying, I noticed that my hair became buhaghag and I ALMOST FREAKED OUT. I even thought of walking out on them but I calmed my self since it was the first time it happenned to me. I asked kuya and he said ganun daw talaga lalo kung damaged hair na mae expose muna ang lahat ng damage ng hair dahil tinatanggal muna yung resudue ng previous treatments and conditioners bago ito ayusin. That way, mas madaling kakapit ang hair treatment na ilalagay nila at mas magiging maganda ang talab sa hair. Hearing a good explanation about my concern, pinayagan ko na tapusin nila yung process kahit kabang kaba na ako.

    As usual, I was adviced to wash my hair after 48 hours. So i went home, slept the fatigue off and washed my hair after 48 hours. I even took extra caution by diluting my shampoo in water then using lots of conditioner. Nakalimutan ko pa nga humingi ng take home treatment nila kaya nagtyaga ako sa head n shoulders at creamsilk. Napaganda parin nila ang hair ko kahit damaged na, buti nalang sa kanila ko parin dinala. I just had to have it trimmed after one week kase nga may split ends na. Kasalanan ko naman din kase nagmarunong ako sa pagkukulay. Buti nalang mild yung gamot na nilalagay sa japanese straight.

  53. When undergoing beauty treatments I think it is important that we 1. COMMUNICATE POLITELY with the person working in the salon especially when we have doubts and concerns so they can answer our questions and avoid being "praning".
    2. LET THEM FINISH THEIR JOB, When I was having the JS, muntik na akong mag walk out dahil sa takot ko na masira lalo ang hair ko. Good thing that I COMMUNICATED with them so my questions were answered and naiwasan ko mag walkout. Siguro kung nilayasan ko sila that day, baka lalong nasira ang hair ko kase hindi makukumpleto yung treatment.
    3. FOLLOW THE HAIR CARE INSTRUCTIONS. This is very important. After we leave the salon, the future of our hair is in our hands. They will not give those instructions without any good reason. They grew and expanded in the business because they knew better than us how to keep the hair in good shape.
    4. WAG MAGDUNUNG DUNUNGAN BY DOING DIY HAIR COLORING. Marami nang nasirang buhok dahil dito. Ako mismo nabiktima ng sarili kong mga kamay. Lol!

    JUST A FRIENDLY ADVICE:
    Whenever we are posting something online, like blogging or commenting in blogs, let us BE VERY CAREFUL WITH WHAT WE SAY/WRITE. Hindi masamang mag express ng damdamin at opinion. After all, we are in a democratic country and we have the freedom of speech. BUT KEEP IN MIND that there are laws pertaining to libel and cyber bullying that LIMITS our so-called freedom of speech. Hindi naten alam kung sino ang nakakabasa ng mga isinulat naten. Mahirap naman na tayo na nga ang nadisappoint sa service eh tayo pa ang mademanda dahil lang di tayo naging maingat sa pagsasalita naten. It's better to address the people concerned so you can both arrive to a better agreement. I don't mean to offend those who were not happy with the reasults of their js. Like all of you, I am also just expressing my thoughts about this topic and I hope that this makes sense to the readers.
    if we are happy then spread the joy. If not, then let us directly address them instead of stressing the author of this blog who was obviously happy with her own hair.

    Super happy ako sa result and the following week, dinala ko naman ang sister ko dun at pina japanese straight ko din siya at naging happy din siya. So ngayon after a year, still straight pa din hair ko maliban na lang sa bagong tubo pero di ako kulot.. And im planning to get back there kasi gusto kong magpa treatment ulit sa kanila. I AM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER OF TOMI NO HARU! madiscourage ka sa place pero yung result sa hair, super love ko!

    1. STAFF SUCKS. Puro lalaki, lahat lalaki, na nakacasual, yung iba mukang snatcher, di mo nga alam kung sino sino tlga yung staff eh kasi wlang uniform tapos usap2 dun usap2 dito, nakakatakot kasi babae ka lalo na pag ikaw plng or ikaw nlng ntira. Wew. Tapos sa pag straight tae, ang sakit ang lakas ng grip nitong mga bwisit na to sabi ko masakit ang sabi ba naman nung 'manager' ha, nanagsstraight sakin, 'part of life daw' yun! Wahahaha pota bastos.
    2. THEIR PLACE SUCKS - VERY SMALL as in, 8 kayo dun puro upuan lng tska radio or isang sinaunang tv. Siksikan talaga, very uncomfortable. Shit tlga.
    3. EITHER MABABASA DAMIT MO OR SASAKIT LEEG MO sa hihigaan mo during pag wash nila ng hair mo. Imbis na supurtahan at sila ang maglift ng ulo mo, ikaw daw ang maglift. Seryoso? Nakahiga ako tas tataas ko ulo ko? Papatigasin ko leeg ko? Ikaw kaya! GRABE TALAGA Very uncomfortable tas mababasa ka pa sa likod susmiyo!
    4. STAFF SUCKS NANAMAN AS IN - LALAIT LAITIN BUHOK MO SA HARAP MO MISMO very unprofessional! Kasi nga puro lalaki! Walang tiyaga yan sa buhok ng babae eh. Dati yung pinakauna kong nagstraight sakin babae, buntis, ang ayos! Tahimik pa, friendly kaya bumalik ako after a yr. pero nagquit n daw kasi nga nanganak so ayun dun na nagstart ang kalbaryo. Puro lalaking wlang kwenta.
    5. 100% FAIL ANG STRAIGHT SAYO AFTER WASH PAG MASAKIT ANG PAGSTRAIGHT SAYO! HAPPENED TO ME ONCE AND I HAD TO GO BACK AFTER A WK JUST TO REPEAT AGAIN THAT BLOODY 10 BORING HOURS OF SEATING AND COPING UP WITH THE HUMILIATION FROM THE STUPID STAFF THAT JUST WON'T SHUT UP!

  57. Almost 3 Years After.. (October 18, 2012)


    Almost 3 years na ang nakakaraan pero dala-dala ko pa rin ang ginawa ng Tomi Nu Haro sa akin. Hanggang ngayon ang pangit na ng buhok ko, kahit anong treatment at mamahaling products pa sa buhok ang i-apply ko.

    Nagpuputol-putol ang ilalim, matigas, and buhaghag na ang buhok ko na hindi ko na alam kung paano ang gagawin ko para mawala. Kahit ipagupit ko, bumabalik pa rin iyong mga freezy hair. Ganyan po ang long-term effect ng ginawang Japanese Straight ng Tomi Nu Haro sa akin.. Nakakalungkot...

  58. Case to case basis ang mga hair treatment. This hair salon is not worthy of your money, time and effort. I had my hair done at their Pasig branch infront of Robinsons Sta. Lucia. Lalong nadamage ang hair ko. Nagpuputol putol at mas frizzy imbes na masolusyonan. Tip lang sa nagbabalak, mas maganda pang itreatment nyo muna kahit yung mga nabibili lang sa watson na buy one take one ang nadamage nyong buhok ng rebonding or japanese straightening ng mga 3 months para tumibay ulit bago nyo parebond ulit but make sure na pede sa damage hair yung rebonding solution wag regular rebonding cuz it is only for virgin hair.

  60. Pinagsisihan ko pagpunta sa salon na to. Imbes na gumanda hair ko nasira lang and worst nag hair fall. Pano ba naman iisa lang ang staff na gumawa sa amin 3 customers sa marcos hway branch kaya nababad na halos buhok namin sa chemical. Kaya nagkaputol putol halos mapanot na ung tuktok ng ulo ko.

  61. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON! IF POSSIBLE MAGCLOSE NA SILA. PLEASE MGA SIS DO NOT EVER DO THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! Super sira ang hair ko. What's worst is nadamay pa sister ko kasi niyaya ko sya here. My hair is ok prior to going to the salon. I just don't want rebonding. But then ayun this happened. Super sira ang hair namin. Please please please! DO NOT GO TO TOMI NO HARU. It took us 11 hours. 1 lang ang gumagawa. sakit sa likod nakaupo lang sa uncomfortable chair. There was even one client n sya na nagiiron ng hair nya sa sobrang inip. The facility was awful as well. Super not worth it. This is the worst condition my hair has been through. I did not bother going back. I don't have 11 more hours to spare. Naiiyak na nga ako during the process because I thought maximum of 6 hours lang. My babies are left at home and nakiusap lang ako sandali. Then 11 hours!!!! imagine! Then super damaged ang nangyari. Ambait ko pa dun naaawa rin naman ako sa staff. 2 lang sila 1 assitant. grabe and 5 kami. I even gave them a considerable amount of tip kasi wala silang pangkain. However, please lang don't do more damage to people's hair. magsara na lang kayo kung di nyo alam ginagawa nyo. Nakaktrauma e.
