My husband keep humming a familiar song since last week but I can't recall the title. Suddenly I heard it on the radio today. I laugh so hard when I realize the lyrics. Music Monday #018: Alicia Keys

I'm back and I'm on fire! Coming from a long vacation with friends at Northern Mindanao, I feel refreshed and ready to take on the world. It's good to take time out once in a while. And I did some things that I never thought I could do. Talk about extreme!!! I am a new girl now...braver, fiercer and on fire!

My husband and I arrive home around 3AM coming from a friend's house at Marikina. So, I am not my usual self today. I had to drink two cups of coffee just to get through lunch without falling asleep on my office desk. I'm still sleepy. I cannot function well. My office work is (surprisingly) piling. And I don't want anymore coffee. As a remedy, I listened to this. I like this song 'cause it keeps me swinging my hips even when I'm sitting. Music Monday #014- OPM Xmas Songs

I miss Music Monday! My last post was a month ago. See, I don't have any theme for the song I would like to feature here. Whatever is appropriate or applicable for my feelings at the moment I associate it with a song. I guess I am 'songless' for a few weeks now. I don't even remember the last time I listen to my mp3. (sigh)...

But in the light of the coming holiday season I want to feature two OPM (Original Pilipino Music) Christmas songs. I am not a fan of any Christmas song, honestly speaking. Actually I hate hearing Christmas carols as early as September. (Here in the Philippines, the Christmas season starts when the "ber-months" enter). It's pretty premature for me. But of all the Christmas noises...err, carols I heard these two songs really touch my insides. Do listen..
