For six years now, it has been our family's practice to watch the movie Apocalypto every Lenten season. We don't know the significance of this movie with the Lent or if it gives meaning to our being Catholics during this season of repentance. Still, every Lent we watched this movie. A yearly affair for the family. Like the marathon of horror movies every halloween. Well, that's a poor reference.
